Early in the morning we stopped by “Fuerza de San Pedro” of Cebu . It is a military defense structure built by Spanish under the command of Spanish Conquistador, Miguel Lopez de Legaspi and Cebuano people in 1565. It is located in the area now called Plaza Indepencia, in the Pier Area of Cebu City. For a minimum fee of Twenty Pesos ( P20.00), you will enjoy the historical structure of the fort and the museum inside. You will find original paintings, pictures and articrafts in the museum. The roof garden is so refreshing. The children posed by the cannons surrounding the top of the perimeter wall. There is also a wishing well at the ground floor where my nephews joyfully made their wishes.

"Fort San Pedro", in Cebu Philippines is an interesting memento of the Spanish colonial period. Very interesting bit of history.
