What a great help!

Being a minister in this generation is not easy. You have to cope up with the demands of today’s advance and high technology system. Gone are the days when you preach using only your notebook and pens. When I teach or preach today, it has to be through power point slides. Graphics go along with the text .

I am glad that I have found also a pdf search engine. I do not need to surf the internet for hours looking for my desired ebook. Book search queen has a large collection of books all over the world and the majority of books are here in the convenient pdf format. This is truly a great helpmate for teachers like us.

Free online RPG

My son and I oftentimes bond through playing games online. On weekends, we sometimes sneak out for a two-hour game at our favorite internet cafĂ© in the neighborhood . We don’t do online games at home to refrain from getting virus . The latest and the hottest game on the net today is Algadon free online RPG. It is a free medieval/fantasy themed role playing game that allows players to perform quests, battle monsters and beasts, fight other players, place bounties, and more. We enjoyed sending private messages with each other while having fun with the game. Try it! you will surely enjoy it!

My work-out buddy

I am a health buff. I do a lot of various exercise to stay fit and healthy. I do biking, table tennis, jogging and body building. No matter what our shape or age, exercise must be a part of our daily routine. Exercise strengthens our muscle , make our bones strong , improves our skin, increase relaxation and boost our immune system.

I have been frequenting the Gym since I was a teen-ager. My work-out buddy? It’s Muscletech Hydroxycut Hardcore X. It’s the pre-eminent fat burner in the market made by the company called muscle tech. My Gym instructor introduced it to me 5 years ago and found it to be very effective and with out side effects.

Mellow Yellow Monday

I find it too girly to join this meme, but my wife who is a blog addict told me to join since yellow is one of my favorite color. I need a filler between two paid blogs so I give it a try. I hope, I am not the only guy here.

Shopwiki - The Virtual Shopping Mall

In this world of advance technology and where life is fast paced , everyone like to buy things they want through online shopping store . Instead of hopping from one local store to the other , consumer prefer to stay at the comfort of their homes browsing websites to find the best deals on the products they desire. Aside from saving time , shopping online saves a lot of money since often times they give huge discounts and free delivery. My sister living in Panorama City, California gifted me last month a rubber shoes from an online shopping mall called Shopwiki. She told me that it took her less than 5 minutes to find the exact specification and brand I wanted.

I was amazed so I tried browsing the site. Indeed Shopwiki is a virtual shopping mall which display a wide range of products from accessories, books, clothing, sports, watches, jewelries to wedding needs and memorabilia. Even uncanny and bizarre items they have it.

I tried searching for casual clothing for my boys and I found the following for him :

2. Khaki Pants
3. Soccer Shorts
4. Sports Jersey
5. T-shirts
6. Sneakers
7. Pull-over tops
8. Sneakers
9. Swim Suites
10. Jeans

Girls are more complicated to dress up but I am glad Shopwiki has a buying guide . Below are her favorites :

2. Casual Pants
3. Tank Tops
4. Sweaters
5. Leotards
6. Sneakers
7. Sun Dresses
8. Sandals
9. Tote
10. Hair Accessories

For my wife? Charm bracelet , make-up kit and a Watch would be fitting for Christmas gifts. Hmmmm…. and for myself I found my Titus Racer X Complete Mountain Bike at a fair price. How about you? Save Money, Time and Effort by visiting Shopwiki now and pick your fave !

Paid reviews

Paid reviews

My wife Grace told me about LinkFromBlog but I wasn’t really interested to join since I was busy with my official work . Blogging is just a therapy for me and monetizing it isn’t my priority. That was two months ago… Now that she’s started earning from it, I was challenged to register my site. LinkFromBlog is a new site that paid bloggers to blog. It gives a sign up bonus of $5, plus another set of bonuses for every blog linked to the account. Why not give them a try? Click the banner above and enjoy earning from your paid reviews.

Advertise with my Blog

On Website Hosting

Since I am just a newbie in blogging, I am frequently seeking for tips from my blogging mentor on how to improve my site . Two things my cousin told me , one is to let my site be hosted with a company that I can rely on for support and one that can give me the needed tools . Second, is to have A search engine-friendly domain name which can put you on a path to achieve the rankings and traffic you need to be successful online.

I did a little bit of research of website hosting and I have found a site – webhosting geeks. I enjoyed browsing its pages. It has lots to offer depending on what you need - whether it is a forum, email , windows, Unix, ecommerce or blog hosting . They have a list of the best webhost for 2009 and the best budget/ blog hosting. I have read their blog and learned the advantages for having your site hosted by them.

I guess I have found a provider which offers only $1.99 per month with a free domain privacy protection. This is a good and solid hosting company with a price I can afford. So, if you’re thinking of having one, take a peek of their site right now.

Today is October 13th Edition of Couch Potatoe. My best pick is SCREAM. It is a 1996 horror film directed by Wes Craven from a screenplay by Kevin Williamson, It tells the story of the fictional town Woodsboro, CA being terrorized by a masked killer who enjoys tormenting his victims with phone calls and movie references. The killer's main target is Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), a teenage girl whose mother Maureen fell victim to a brutal murder one year earlier. The film takes on a who done it mystery, with many of her friends and townspeople being fellow targets and suspects.

We were newly married when me and my wife watched the movie. Gosh! We went home with my wife trembling in fear. I was so guilty.

He is the greatest fo all

The famous world Champion boxer MOHAMMAD ALI is known for many memorable sound bites. But none is better known that his claim to be the greatest boxer of all time. It is impossible to find whether he was truly better than all those who came before. Neither it is clear that he could have beat all the boxers that have come since his days. That fact that Ali lost 5 fights clouds the issue.

This is the way of all humanity; someone will always come along to take your place. The author of Hebrews proves to the reader that Jesus, the Son of God, is different in this respect. Jesus truly and absolutely the greatest of all eternity. There has been no one before him who was great and there will be no one after. There will be no one to take His place, because there will never be any need for anyone to do so. .

Thankful Thursday : Son's Scholarship

I thank God for his blessings and favor to our children and for providing them knowledge and wisdom in theur studies. Last Monday , my son Isaiah John received award as 3rd Honor. While 8 of his classmates were not able to maintain the scholarship , my son was among the Top Ten in the class. He was awarded also “ Best in English” for the First year high school level. Praise God for His faithfulness and goodness in our lives.

Flagged down because of Praising God

A friend emailed me this news that Chris Johnson (Oakland Raiders cornerback ) was flagged down when he dropped to his knees and raised his arms in triumph after picking off a pass in the end zone. Johnson later explained that it was his instant reaction for thanking God:

A rule instituted in 2006 prohibits NFL players from celebrating in the end zone by "going to the ground to celebrate a touchdown or using the ball as a prop." The instant Johnson fell to his knees he violated the rule.

I guess, we really can not contained our hearts in Praising God! You maybe penalized for your action but surely GOD was so pleased with you.

Thankful Thursday

Today’s is October 1, there is no better way than to start this day with a GRATEFUL HEART. This day is the beginning of another wonderful days ahead. God surprised me and my wife with lots of blessing this day. A close friend overseas called us up this lunch time and surprised us that he’s love gift is ready for pick-up. I told my wife to check our ATM later this afternoon , Praise God my sister in California sent already her quarterly education assistance for our kids. Isn’t that wonderful? God truly uses people to met our needs. Psalm 73:25 “ Whom have I in the heavens, with You, I lack nothing on earth”.
