" You are not ready yet for Fat Burners" This is what I told my 14 year old son when he asked if it's alright for him to take the pill. He's overly conscious with his weight but lazy to go for a jog around our subdivision. Now that it's summer, I must enroll them to some sports activities . I observed that young people nowadays preferred more to stay in front of the computer or TV than going out for sports activities. Agree?
My son got the surprise on the road when he saw a BMW Malton in our city. It was his first time to see such beautiful and costly luxury car that he almost jumped- off his feet. We really regret, we left our digital camera at home, we were not able to snap a picture of it. We really wondered who's the wealthy owner of it. I guess, he's not really from our city.
It's my birthday this Monday.Praise God for the grace and mercy for the past year and for a fruitful and blissful another year ahead. The whole family will be going to Davao for a three-day birthday getaway. I hope my wife can find a self catering holiday cottages for us.. somewhere at the beach or the mountain side of Davao City.
It's our Ministerial association's Sports fest today and I am quite busy preparing for the task assigned to me. Thanks to the Supplements given by my sis from the US, I feel revived and refreshed from last night's wake vigil. Whew! I am hoping everything's going well with the table tennis and volleyball that were assigned to me.Hoping our team will win too! LOL!

Last Sunday was Family day for us and we were having a grand time with the kids and their grandma. My mom just bought me two Barong Tagalog (Filipino men’s national attire as her birthday gift for me...that’s on May 2) when she said that we would all go to a Beauty Parlor for a make-over. The kids shouted with delight! Our daughter wants her hair trimmed and hot oiled, my son will have a facial cleaning while I will have my warts removed.
My mom would have her hair trimmed and have a facial cleansing too while my dear wife enjoyed observing us all. She opted to have her hair straightened in another parlor. But what we enjoyed is our son. It was his first facial cleaning session and we could observe him squirming with pain as the beautician removed the whiteheads and the blackheads on his face. I think that Beauty parlors here in our place should learn more on better ways in removing those whiteheads and blackheads without causing much pain. I pity my son seeing his reaction. He decided not to do the facial cleansing again. LOL!

Our church’s 25th year Anniversary and Thanksgiving will be on the 21st of August this year. The preparation is now on the way and the Thanksgiving committees are quite busy preparing for it. We are all excited especially the youth since they were assigned to take charge of the Anniversary souvenirs.
A week ago, the youth core group met and decided to have a Pop up booth to display samples of the anniversary souvenirs like; t-shirts, pins, mugs, key chains, bracelets, anniversary pens and many more. They are all looking forward for this event and they want all the items to be ready a month before the Thanksgiving date. That’s exactly what they are going to do! Go, go, go guys!
This was what I read upon visiting an internet site about home ventilation. Being in a tropical place, we usually experience different weather condition even in summer days. During the day, it would be hot and then at night so cold. Our ancestral home where my mom lives had an underground place and this is where she’s staying since the upper portion of the hose was rented.
We often notice basement moisture in her basement room during nighttime and it sometimes bring unpleasant odor during the day. We have applied air fresheners but it only last for a short time. I believe would have to buy a dehumidifier or an air cleaner for my mom so she could sleep at ease in her room.

Today is Palm Sunday and thw whole christian world remember on this day what has been called Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem that occurred only a few days before his crucifixion and resurrection. Here's some of the texts that refer to this event in the life of our Lord.
A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!" When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, "Who is this?" The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee." ( -11)Matt.29:8
When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: "Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!" ( Luke 19:37-38)

Above are some of our pictures of the wedding we attended last night. My wife coordinated the event while I was one of the principal sponsors. I greatly thank Gog for the successful wedding held in one of the biggest hotels in the city. I have been to the Groom's room checking on my son who is the Ring Bearer . I love it's interior decoration specially the Venetian Blinds.
To Nelgin and Ockert! Welcome to the Club of happy and fulfilled couples!
As we watched the news I was reminded to check our Domestic Wiring Accessories . Better to safety than to we sorry!
Protein Shakes from herbal life?I’ve tried it once through a friend’s recommendation. No doubt it is effective but it is also expensive. So I shifted from a cheaper local alternative … Soya Milk. From a $2 One liter bottle I get the same protein . In this time of economic crisis when prices of basic commodities are going up… it is but practical to look for cheaper products .
Much have been said and publicized about climate change but I guess some people have not yet fully comprehend the necessity to adopt green living. A friend who owns a Thermo Engineering Services explained to me about air conditioning leeds . We must help our environment and reduce our carbon footprint by patronizing products that are environment friendly. It's high time to junk old appliances and replace them with energy saving units.

My son want a retro look for his room, so we decided to repaint it with earthly colors ans transferred some of the wooden furniture to his room. My wife and I asked for quotation for Hardwood floor installation cost to compare with ceramic tiles but we found out that hardwood are more expensive. Now, we decided to install the ceramic tiles with wooden design to save cost .

Thanks to the brilliant ideas of my youth core group. They were able to come up with a fun-filled activities for our Church Family Day this April 23. The committee suggested to offer Tee- shirt printing at a minimal cost to serve as souvenir of the said activity. No need to buy new shirt... they can bring their old plain t-shirt for a printing cost of just P25.00.
Our friends Jackie and Junie gave their self-made wedding invitation today after the Church Service. My wife can not help buy admire how they were able to come up to such a beautiful and creative design. I am sure their wedding photo posters would be a surprise too!

Looking for a job in our place is really hard. My nephew who is a fresh graduate this year settled to be a wine merchants at the biggest grocery market in the city in spite that he graduated with a bachelor's degree. White collared job is hard to find so he settled for the blue... at least it's not as hard as working in a construction site or any job that request manual labor.
It's the first week of Summer here in the Philippines and our kids are not with-us anymore. The slept over a close friend's house for some kids parties. That means me and my wife are a couple for two days more. We planned to see a movie and have a special dinner at a cozy restaurant. Sometimes it's good not to have the children around. Agree?
Seven days more to go before my friends BIG DAY! Last Tuesday, the girls had their shower party, my wife gifted Nelgin a lingerie... hahahahaha. Because she will be marrying a foreigner, our stag party this Monday will be a challenge to Ockuert. We will let him eat some of the Philippine's exotic foods . I hope he will not be offended.
Come April 28 will be another wedding of a very close couple - Junie and Jackie. My wife prepared Kitchen Utensils as our gift. The Stag and Shower party are yet to be scheduled.

DEEP - Daily Evangelistic Explosion Program.
DEEPERS - Those people who are involve with the DEEP
DEEPERS - Those people who are involve with the DEEP
Thanks to our Admin Pastor , Rev. Joselito Erezo for the terminologies above. DEEP is a program of our church created to assist the Church Planting Team. Every summer, young people will launch out to prospect areas for church planting. For 2-3 weeks, these young people under the supervision of some adults will conduct various evangelistic activities like home and school bible studies, children's out reach and friendship evangelism. Our DEEP area for this year will be at Don Carlos, Bukidnon. Talking about deep reminds me of a ppc agencyI have been working before. It's such a rewarding work!
Below is the lecture I have given to my Bible Study group in one of the offices in our city. Someone requested a copy of it , so I decided to post it here instead... Happy reading...
Love Language #1: Words of Affirmation - Proverbs 18:21, Proverbs 27:14, James 3: 8-10
Verbal Compliments; Words of Praise - Focus is on something they do that is under their control. Encouraging Words - Focus is on who they are. See the world from their perspective. Kind Words - Tone is crucial! Humble Words - make requests, not demands. When you make a request, are you affirming his or her abilities? Indirect Words - How you speak about a loved one not in their presence can have an impact. Words of Guidance (especially with children)
Love Language #2: Quality Time - when we give someone our undivided attention.
Togetherness = Combined focused attention. Quality Conversation A genuine attempt to understand the other person's thoughts, feelings, and desires. Become both better listerners and better sharers. Quality Activities - Anything in which one or both of you has an interest. - Mark 1:35, Ps. 1:1-3, Joshua 1:6-9, Eph. 6:18, James 5:16-18
Things to Consider
For you and your spouse or you and your family, isolate two or three experiences that brought you very close and are a source of continuing fond memories. Plan a new event that has strong "memory" potential. What are some things you can do with your spouse or other loved ones on a regular basis? Make a commitment to do at least two of these in the next month. Look back upon the last major problem or challenge your spouse faced. Write out ways you could have better
achieved the following: (a) less advice and more sympathy; (b) more understanding and fewer solutions; (c) more questions and fewer conclusions; (d) more attention to the person and less to the problem.
Love Language #3: Receiving Gifts - Proverbs 11:24-25, Proverbs 21:26, Proverbs 22:9, Luke 6:38
Think about about a gift you received as a child. What made it so special? Come up with at least three things or principles for how to show someone love through the giving of a gift. "Gifts are visual symbols of love." "Physical presence in the time of crisis is the most powerful gift you can give if your spouse’s primary love language is receiving gifts. Your body becomes the symbol of your love." Children know the difference between a gift and a bribe.
Things to Consider
What gifts have you given your spouse that were particularly appreciated? If this is his or her primary language, decide to give one token of love, however small, in line with those preferences each week for the next month. Are there situations that your presence is especially important to your spouse or children? Discuss with your spouse ways you may already be monitoring gift giving and how you can make this an even greater expression
of love in your family.
Love Language #4: Acts of Service "… doing things you know your spouse would like you to do."
Make a list of things you know your spouse or a close loved one wants you to do. Be specific and practical. "Requests give direction to love, but demands stop the flow of love." In order to serve well, we must pay attention to our own physical and emotional needs. Who are we really serving and for what purpose?
Things to Consider:
Choose three simple, but humble tasks that you don’t especially like, but know your spouse would be pleased to
see completed. Surprise your spouse by doing them without being asked. Many couples feel that they have overcome gender role stereotypes in their relationship but unconscious bias still remains. Discuss your deepest feelings about sharing all activities and your family history in this regard. Think back to when you were courting your spouse. What made them feel special? Can you keep doing it? - Galatians 5:13, 1 Samuel 12:24, Mark 10:45
Love Language #5: Physical Touch
Touch is more than sexual. "Don’t make the mistake of believing that the touch that brings pleasure to you will also bring pleasure to her."
Things to Consider:
Perhaps you and your spouse have never openly shared with one another the types of touching you find pleasurable. Discuss the emotional, sexual, and psychological dimensions related to all these areas of the body. Discuss what times it is especially important to be with your spouse -- special events or activities where they also want you close at hand. Is hugging or other physical expression also important to them at these times?
Above was the Fuel price three weeks ago. In a matter of 20 days,it soared up high up at almost 15%.Whew! I guess I need to use more often our motor bike than our Van.... or better yet commute through my bike. Talking about my biking spree yesterday, I was able to get logo design ideas for a friend's business from the establishment I passed trough along the commercial areas. It is something green and unique!
