The many benefits of olive oil

Extra virgin olive oil can be a very expensive product but no one can argue  on huge advantages and benefits gained from regular use. The product is worth it's cost. The problem isn't in value, but instead lies in misunderstanding and the lack of knowledge of the countless benefits one can gt by using it.

Olive oil (scientific name is Olea Europaea) is a good carrier for essential oils due to its lubricity. It is commonly used in soaps, hair care formulas and all types of skin care products such as shampoo, face powder, hair coloring, lipsticks and even  anti-wrinkle creams. Some people with  rheumatic conditions find it useful at it eased the pain specially when you  use it during colder seasons. It moisturizes dry skin and can relieve itching. It is a great treatment for dandruff and makes hair strong and  shiny.  Olive oil is produced from a fruit obtained from Mediterranean Basin. It has lots of uses such as in cooking, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and soaps, and is used as a fuel for traditional oil lamps.

When  the olive oil is categorized as virgin, it means that  the  oil is  produced by the use of physical means and no chemical ingredients are added. Refined olive oil are those  which has been chemically treated to neutralize strong tastes and acid content.  If you wish to buy  the best extra virgin olive oil,   there are stores that supplies this kind of oil like www.wineitaliano.com. Olive oil works well as a natural sunburn blocker, too. Still allowing you to receive natural vitamin D, but keeps you from burning. ;)
