Prayer of Thanksgiving

Our Heavenly Father, God of our past, present and future, we gather today to give thanks to You. Your faithfulness in the lives of those all around here today cannot be measured. Today we remember the vision that you have given to your servants, the Raboca family who manages this school as your stewards. We remember the efforts of everyone who contributed to the success of this school. We remember the sacrifice of the founders and builders and we offer our thanksgiving to You and our praise.

God of growth, we remember too those who helped this school to grow in wisdom and in faith. And so we think of the teachers, the faculty and staff, the personnel, the parents and many others who provided leadership. We remember the President of this school, the school director, Board and committee members, men and women who stepped forward to provide governance and leadership. And for all these varied forms of leadership we are grateful and we say thank You Lord!

God of community, we remember events that brought us together; the Parents and Teachers Association, the programs, school activities and many more. And for the gifts of friendship and fellowship, groups that provided times of companionship and times of growth in community, we say thank You Lord!

God of our present, on this day we remember all that led this congregation to this day.
For 16 years of ministry to the students and with this community, for 16 years of growing together in love, for all that has made us what we are now, we say thank You Lord!

God of our future, we entrust to you our lives. As you allow us to inspire and serve others for years and years to come, may you also grant us the faithfulness to serve You and love you every day of our lives. All these things we offer back to You because You are the One who caused us to enjoy these blessing in life. To you Oh God we give our thanks, honor, worship and praise…in JESUS NAME! Amen.
(This prayer was during the 16th year anniversary of Bright Rock School, Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City )
