Disaster mis-coordination?

The City government of Cagayan de Oro through Magnum Radio Claim to have given their best in helping the Typhoon Sendong Victims in the city... but most of CDO constituents were not satisfied with their efforts. Iligan City has a well-organized Disaster Coordination according to the news. Examples they reported were :

1. The inhuman bringing of dead bodies to the Garbage Landfill.
2. The rejection of the food for work budget given by the National government
3. Lack of coordination between Government and NGO's
4. Visibility of government officials at relocation and flooded sites
5. Others

We are one of the Victims of Typhoon Sendong

I haven't been blogging for 5 days  now due to the killer typhoon that devastated our city. As much as I wanted to pour our my heart here... but i can not do so. It's a torture on my part to recall again that dreadful dawn of December 17,2011.

For now, we are busy at our church.  It's been used by some religious and Non-governmental organization as relief Center. Fr three days now, we've been roaming around the affected areas giving blankets and Mats through Operation Blessing and CBN Asia .

ALL I CAN SAY IS : THANK GOD FOR SAVING OUR LIVES...

( Wordful Wednesday and Thankful Thursday)

Cleanliness Drive

Pictures above was during the " Cleanliness drive" which the youth of our church participated. We were assigned at the market , so you just can imagine the garbage and the smell of the place. The organizer supposedly provided us with FFP3 Masks or even ordinary mask but because this is a volunteer work, we did our job without complaining.
